Kirsten Sullivan

Kirsten Sullivan is a Toronto based dancer, performer, choreographer and teacher. She is a graduate of the Ryerson (now Toronto Metropolitan) University School of Performance, and the 2017 recipient of the Lipson Family Endowment Award - honouring excellence in performance and choreography. Her creative work and choreography has been supported by Dance Matters, Kaeja D’dance, Ryerson (now Toronto Metropolitan) University, New Blue Dance, and Release Dance Projects. Kirsten has extensive experience in a multitude of movement languages, and takes influence from her experiences training in partnering and floor driven practices. Currently focused on working in the space between the known and unknown, Kirsten aims to create opportunities for communal collaboration, exchange, and participation.
For Peggy Baker Dance Projects: Kirsten performed in the film cycle her body as words. She was also selected as a 2019 RBC Emerging Artist.
