Kevin Lau

Kevin Matthew Lau is a Chinese-Canadian dancer, choreographer, and artist from Toronto. He grew up training in contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, jazz, and modern dance.
He is an alumnus of the School of Alberta Ballet in Calgary, under the direction of Edmund Stripe. In 2020, Kevin graduated 'summa cum laude' from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Contemporary Dance, under the direction of Tommy Neblett. Through the years, he has had the privilege of performing in Canada, Germany, and the U.S, working with renowned choreographers and artists including Micaela G. Taylor, Jessica Castro, Shamel Pitts, Eric Beauchesne, David Norsworthy, Tom Weinberger, Zoe Scofield, Christoph Winkler, Eduardo Vallejo Pinto, Lauren Edson, Kate Weare, Gizem Aksu, and Felix Landerer.
For Peggy Baker Dance Projects: Kevin was selected as a 2021/22 RBC Emerging Artist and appears in the film series Choreographic Gems.
