Ric Brown

Ric Brown is an actor and dancer. He holds a B.A. in English from the University of Western Ontario and is a graduate of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre.  A former company member with Le Groupe Dance Lab (Ottawa), where he danced for 5 years, his other dance credits include: Creation and touring of Monumental with Holy Body Tattoo; the Canadian premiere of Masurca Fogo with Pina Bausch Tanztheater Wuppertal; Greatest Hits, Volume 2 with Danny Grossman Company; and Lesandra Dodson’s In 2 days a man can change (touring the duet across Canada). Theatre credits include: Beauty and the Beast (The Grand Theatre); Hamlet, Love’s Labour’s Lost (NAC); Mambo Italiano (GCTC); The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me, The Laramie Project,  (Act Out Theatre).

For Peggy Baker Dance Projects: Ric was a member of the core ensemble from 2012 - 2017, performing in the repertory works Yang and Split Screen Stereophonic, and originating roles in Aleatoric Trio No. 1, locus plot, land | body | breath, stone leaf shell skin, Night Garden, Piano/Quartet, and move.
