Born in Grande Praire, Alberta Jarrett Siddall started his performance career in Edmonton, Alberta where he danced for the Ukrainian Shumka Dancers and Citie Ballet. Jarrett attended The School of Toronto Dance Theatre in 2009, and was awarded the Hnatyshyn Foundation Developing Artist Grant in contemporary dance in his first year. At the School, Siddall performed works by Serge Bennathan, Anna Blewchamp, Valerie Calam, Allison Cummings, Sharon Moore, Jean-Pierre Perreault, Julia Sasso, Roger Sinha, Darryl Tracy, Gerry Trentham, and William Yong. Graduating in 2012, Siddall joined Toronto Dance Theatre for five seasons where he performed works by Stephen Andrews, Susie Burpee, Peter Chin, Thomas Hauret, Ame Henderson, Christopher House, Heidi Strauss, and Evan Webber. Jarrett now works with various independant choreographers and companies including Joe Ink and Vazari Dance Projects (VDP). Siddall is also a rehearsal director and artistic associate for VDP, run by Jessie Garon.
