Anisa Tejpar

Anisa Tejpar (she/her), a Dora Mavor Moore Award winner from Toronto, is a dancer, choreographer and creative collaborator. She is a graduate of Canada's National Ballet School and performed in various renowned companies such as Toronto Dance Theatre, Zata Omm, ProArteDanza, Peggy Baker Dance Projects and more. Tejpar is also the Co-Artistic Director of Hit & Run Dance Productions, where she has created works for well-known artists and brands across Canada. Her diverse portfolio includes collaborations with NIKE, The Rolling Stones, PUMA, and many others. She has also worked on unique projects like the live-immersive drive-in experience, Haunted Cinema, and choreographed for Steven Spielberg's Minority Report and the video game Far Cry: Primal. Additionally, Tejpar is involved in Côté Danse as an Associate Producer and Creative Assistant for Guillaume Côté. She teaches Consent + Boundaries for Dancers at Toronto Metropolitan University and is one third of The Platform, a contemporary dance collective. Tejpar is also an Intimacy Coordinator and Director, specializing in dance and working with prestigious organizations such as The National Ballet of Canada and Ballet BC. She serves on the Board of Directors for Canada's National Ballet School, as well as their Foundation and is involved with Dancing with Parkinson's, where she has directed and choreographed their Intergenerational Dance Project connecting youth and seniors through dance.
