Fundamentals with Christine Wright

Every Monday & Wednesday, Christine’s class will be “Fundamentals”. This special class is the opening exercises, usually done in the first half hour of the Daily Technique Class. Christine developed many of these exercises to address issues she sees in class, lumbar instability for instance. These exercises address anatomical goals on a very specific level, a level too detailed to address in the complex setting of a regular class. The Fundamentals class will vary sometimes, concentrating on a specific area of the body.

Monday’s class will be geared toward dancers addressing their specific needs. The last half hour of the class will be a barre. All are welcome to join.

Dancers of any background are welcome as are non-dancers.

“It is a class that I wish I had been taking 5 years ago as everything that she is focusing on is what I have been working towards in one way or another for the past 5 years. I have found the exercises she presents to offer a huge amount of feedback as they are simple but rigorous and reveal ones habits and weaknesses so that you can begin to strengthen and focus on those areas.” – Brodie Stevenson
