News:

Dance Teacher Magazine talks about Christine, the “Dance Whisperer” here.

Christine brings 26 years of professional experience teaching in New York, and is now based in Toronto. This 2-hour class will develop and enhance body movement and technique in a supportive environment. Pre-registration is not required and those without professional dance experience are welcome.

More about Christine
Christine Wright has taught a daily professional level ballet class geared toward the contemporary dancer in New York City for the past 26 years. She now brings her vast knowledge and expertise to a daily class in the gorgeous studios of Canada’s National Ballet School.

Based on sound principles of anatomy, the focus of the class is movement, flow, and musicality. Interested in more than teaching the ballet technique, Christine focuses on teaching dancers skills that enable them to bring out their own innate abilities, resulting in freedom of movement built on a firm foundation.

PLEASE NOTE: All participants will be required to sign-in at the reception at 400 Jarvis Street, and Class Card purchasers will be required to provide contact details to Peggy Baker Dance Projects in accordance with Canada’s National Ballet School security procedures. Our venue is a working school with children present. Maintaining their safe environment is paramount.
