Janie Brendel
dancer

Janie Brendel moved to New York City after spending six years in Hawaii dancing in Betty Jones and Fritz Ludin’s company, Dances We Dance

She is grateful to have worked with many choreographers, including Peggy Baker, Zvi Gotheiner, Martita Goshen, Peter Healey, Adam Hougland, Kenny Larson, Jennifer Mabus, and Doug Varone, and has performed their work in New York City, Asia, and Europe. She has danced with Peggy Baker Dance Projects numerous times in New York City, throughout Canada, and in Belgium.

She is currently rehearsing for her show Inspired, a tribute to Howard Gilman and White Oak, where she had three life-changing residencies.

For Peggy Baker Dance Projects: Janie performed with Peggy in Doug Varone’s The Volpe Sisters.
