Ciara Adams

Ciara Adams is an accomplished vocalist and theatrical creator/performer, having studied opera at Queen’s University and acting at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, she has performed throughout the UK and Canada, and toured internationally over her twenty year career.  As a musician she has released two solo albums, Live at Le Select Bistro (2005), and Playboy of the Western World (2008) and an EP as duo Saintfield, Into the World (2020). 

Ciara has co-created and performed in numerous projects including several cycles with Theatre Gargantua (2003-2012) and bluemouth inc. (2003-2016) with whom she was a co-Artistic Director between 2009-2016.  Ciara is also an accomplished voice teacher who has been operating her own voice studio in Toronto for 15 years, and a trained artist educator who has worked across Canada and the UK writing and delivering workshops for many organizations including The Royal Conservatory of Music (LTTA).  

For Peggy Baker Dance Projects: Ciara performed alongside Fides Krucker to provide the soundscape for land | body | breath at the Art Gallery of Ontario and the National Gallery of Canada.
