Ric Brown


Ric Brown completed a B.A. in English at the University of Western Ontario. He then went on to the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, graduating from the three-year professional training program. He was a company member with Le Groupe Dance Lab (Ottawa) for 5 years, working with choreographers from all over Canada and Europe. Selected favourite dance credits include: Monumental with Holy Body Tattoo; the Canadian Premiere of Masurca Fogo with Pina Bausch Tanztheater Wuppertal; Greatest Hits, Volume 2 with Danny Grossman Dance Company; In 2 days by Lesandra Dodson; as well as the video for Dance Floor Anthem by Good Charlotte. Theatre credits include: Beauty and the Beast (The Grand Theatre); Hamlet, Love’s Labour’s Lost (NAC); Mambo Italiano (GCTC); The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me, The Laramie Project, and Hair (Act Out Theatre). Ric’s repertoire with Peggy Baker Dance Projects includes Piano/Quartet, move, Night Garden, Stone Leaf Shell, locus plot, Phase Space, Split Screen Stereophonic and YangMuch love to my mom and dad for their constant belief and support.
